HISTORY
Steeped in local history
You’ll find Paws & Claws (formerly Vet Farm & Pet Clinic) down the road from the old courthouse on Elizabeth Street, in Warkworth. Based in Warkworth, we have clients who come to the clinic from surrounding areas – from Puhoi to Kaipara Flats and Matakana, Omaha, Snells Beach, Leigh, and up to Wellsford. We also travel to farms and lifestyle blocks from the East Coast to the West Coast. The clinic has a proud history of providing the level of veterinary services and vet care our clients have come to rely on.

We just want to thank your Vets and nurses for the exemplary service to us over the past 10 years.
You have cared for our dogs during this time … our staffie, our rottie and now our rescue puppy. Whether routine visits, or the one life threatening emergency we had, you have always been right there, calmly reassuring us and bringing our fur kids through each time.
None of our dogs have ever had an issue with going into the surgery. That says something about the wonderful vibes and people who work there. We cannot recommend you highly enough and look forward hopefully to another 10 years with you!
I have gotten to know Tania well over the past few years as one of our boys needed specialised care. Tania treated him so well and he lived his best life for at least an extra two years under her expert care. Both our dogs are always excited to visit and Tania has gone above and beyond to make sure they are well cared for. We trust Tania implicitly and highly recommend both Tania and her team.
I can not speak highly enough of the attention, support and sympathy the lovely vets and staff have always given me over the years.
